    Hi,

    I have a question, when the streaming is live, we wan’t a notification or symbol of live streaming on our thumbnail.
    How can we do it?

    Hi,

    Use a code like this
    $event_id is $post->ID

    $transient_name = ‘event_data_to_return_’.$event_id;
    $event_data_for_transient = get_transient( $transient_name );
    if( $event_data_for_transient[‘hlsPlaybackUrl’]!=”){

    .. event is live
    }

    Thank you

    Hello there,

    To simply answer your question regarding notifications – we don’t currently have an automated way to let viewers know that you are live. You can do this by sharing the page on your Social media pages or through email.

    However, what we do have instead that we hope would make a close alternative is setting up a list on your website with all the current ‘Active’ Live streams. This way, whenever a viewer comes onto your website, they can see if you are live. You can also add a text under the thumbnail to show viewers that you are LIVE.
    Here is the link to a tutorial to set this up https://youtu.be/2hKJ3jXIR3Q

    Hope this helps and please let us know if you have further questions or concerns 🙂

    Best,
    Beatrice
