We’re doing live stream and it seems that one of the viewers is getting unstable video and audio on his high-end desktop which runs on Windows 10 and he’s using the latest Google Chrome version. His Internet connection is 100Mbps up and down. The surprising thing is that on the same network, he’s streaming on his iPad and it’s pretty stable.
What could be causing such a problem on his desktop? Can you share your experiences on making it work? We fear that many other people might experience the same issue. We need to know how to handle it.
It could be a lot of things, including bandwidth or cpu shortage (despite the reported high end and fast), chrome plugins etc. If you can reproduce it at will we may be able to diagnose. Else, you may be able to offer better throughput to your viewers by enabling ABR, see details here
