    Over the course of last week, we have had scattered reports of increased/unusual RTMP connectivity issues, with a relevant surge of incidents over the weekend. All reported faulty events were set to record.

    Happening has only sparingly been replicated in our tests, with connectivity issues sometimes starting an hour or more into the broadcast.

    While we are not still fully aware of the root of the problem, this has been incidentally linked to a middleware cloud storage system involved in the recording process.

    As of early Monday, we decided to step in and scratch record to a more available filesystem; action has been taken immediately and new events carried out the setup.

    While the hotfix seems to have done the job, we are still on our toes and continue to test and investigate.
    We regret the impact this event caused for our customers. Will update the thread with new information as it becomes available.



    Following lack of incidents after changing the filesystem type, we decided to make the change permanent. We do not expect this kind of incident to reoccur.
