Beginning April 1st, we are changing the way video gets recorded on the WpStream platform to address some long requested features
-recordings are no longer limited to 1GB
-interruptions in broadcast (i.e. due to network issues) no longer generate multiple recordings
-the recording name includes the ID of the channel it is recorded off of; this helps easily tell recordings apart when running multiple channels simultaneously
Changes will apply platform-wide, regardless of the plugin version. No action is required on your side.

    Before Apr 1
-Recording file name looks like Recorded_Video_Wed_16_Feb_2022_12-50-33_GMT.mp4
-Each unique broadcast session on a channel will be recorded individually
-Any interruption in a broadcast (i.e. due to network issues) will lead to multiple recordings
-Longer recordings will be split every 1GB

    After Apr 1
-Recording file name looks like ‘Recording – Wed Mar 9, 2022 – Channel 7 (1).mp4’
-Multiple broadcast sessions on a channel will be combined into a single video
-A recording will be created for every event
-It may take up to an hour after an event is completed (channel turns off) for the recording to be available under your account.
-Longer recordings will be split roughly every 20GB or 24h
