This make me think that the problem is the decryption key or my server is somehow blocking the data flow.

Please try login with your username rather than your email into the plugin, we just uncovered an issue and this seems to be the easy workaround.

Glad to hear. Issue has been identified and fixed, to be rolled out along with the next update. It has affected some 5% of the users, which had a rather unusual username pattern.
