Okay perfect, I feel a lot more clear with everything for now!
So I just put the code on any page? For example my home page….? And am I correct that the channel has to be active for this to work? I had an error before when applying the code to a page but it was when the channel wasn’t active.
I tried adding the shortcode to the product and the page of live stream whilst testing my live channel and both times this did not pop up with any chat… wanting to upgrade but only when I know this option is working! Thank you
The channel I’m wanting to link the live chat to is a pay per view channel, does that make any difference?

Hi there, I just tried adding the chat shortcode with my channel ID to my homepage and this appeared… ‘Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.’ What do I do in this case?
Thankyou, I’ve got it all sorted now with the payments. If people are unable to see the live but have paid, when I select record broadcast I presume this is added to their videos in accounts..? Is that right? How long do they have access?
Thank you for your reply. Okay, I’ve emailed woocommerce support regarding notifications. As I’m setting up live stream dance events, what is the situation with playing my own music? As it’s for people who have signed up and paid and not publicly live to all, surely this is okay?
Back again!… As I have set up a weekly and monthly subscription product..then also a day pass. Which channel do I broadcast to? Do they all sync up?
Also, how do I know when people have signed up, do I get notifications via my website or email?
