The explicit instructions are here
We do not yet have the ability to to make items available for a limited time, once purchased the VOD may be watched indefinitely. If you are interested in such feature you may post a separate topic under feature requests.
You do not need WC Subscriptions for this scenario, only common WooCommerce.
In the case of Larix Broadcaster (and other broadcasters that require the ‘rtmp’ stream on a single line) you should join the 2 credential fields as following
URL + / + Stream Key
For Example: rtmp://126.96.36.199/wpstream/2z8u1hpl3hefo3qb?auth=sjarl5nr
Please check the following article for more detail on how to broadcast with Larix, most instructions also apply to the corresponding iPhone/iPad app.
The free account only has 100MB of storage, however it should not act like that (get stuck at 100%) but instead display an error.
Behavior may in turn be triggered by a temporary interruption in your upload connection.
Please take the time to attempt uploading a smaller file and see if it happens again, we may be able to troubleshoot based on your feedback.
The upgrade is now applied to all accounts (i.e. the 10G recording limit). Thank you for helping us better our product.
Autoplay is enabled but also enforced by browser policy.
In the case of Chrome, it will autoplay if your site has been visited by the user at least a couple times, else it will just wait for the click to play. This is enforced to protect viewers from annoying video ads.
Also in the case of Chrome, video will autoplay without restriction if it’s muted in the beginning, we will have this (the mute) as a channel option in a future version, stay tuned.
We have applied an update that clips the recordings at 10G instead of 2, currently enabled for your account. It will become global in a few days.
Hope it works for you, feedback is welcome.
The way it would work is for you to set up unattended access to a computer and leave it on, engineering will step in as schedule permits.
You may also use the ticket support in your account (especially useful for sharing passwords etc as it’s private), that gets answered the next working day at the latest.
Please see this post
It may be due to a camera driver incompatibility or other issues.
Off the top of my head I may recommend
1. trying it on a different computer.
2. if still not helpful you may want to try a broadcasting app instead of the browser, unfortunately browser does not work for everyone
See this post for more details on how browser broadcast may not be ideal
Truly sorry we can’t help more.
Let me know if you’d be able to provide remote access to the computer you’re experiencing issues with, we’d attempt to troubleshoot from your POV.
We are changing the clip size to 10 GB, to be deployed in production by Friday. If you don’t mind getting an early release (not fully tested) we can enable it for your account some time on Wed.
Please note that this is a platform update, you will not need to upgrade your plugin.
You may use any chat you like without restriction.
For extra customization you may use the WpStream shortcodes to embed the video player
Please use our own speed tester for a more accurate reference of how much you can upload directly to our cloud, speedtest.net tests against the closest PoP by default.
Do not take any for granted, speeds fluctuate on any connection (albeit some more than others), the QoS graphs may give you a good insight into that, especially as you are testing against different connections. We constantly run infrastructure tests at bitrates of up to 80Mbps and observed no shortages or throughput issues in the latest months.
We broadcast on your channel until the recording clipped at 2G, and noticed no interruption in live playback or other kind of malfunction, except for the expected split of the recording. Will need help from you into replicating what you reported, it just does not happen for us.
Will decide on a new clip size and timeline to implement the feature on Monday.
