Hi, thanks for reaching out,
Streaming is available in all modern browsers, including mobile. If not working for you try broadcasting at a lower bitrate, different settings, or reach out to support for further guidance.
Yes, just set it up with a “featured image”, it will show up as a ‘background’ in the player.
Hope this helps.September 11, 2020 at 8:25 am in reply to: “Static RTMP” feature – beta – available upon request #89230
Hi there. Thank you so much for reporting. I have emailed you the correct link. Please check and confirm. I Apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Hi Anay, thanks for bringing this up,
Unlike live, VOD delivery is not (yet) optimized for your location (via CDN delivery), nor does it support ABR.
While these are both technologically and product-lifecycle wise possible to accomplish, they are not a priority I’m afraid. Will be sure to let you know if we have a beta of either feature.
Let me know the amount of VOD traffic you expect to be doing in the short and medium run, I’ll try bring your case in a meeting and let you know if any chance to prioritize.
1. it’s a trade-off, smaller sizes (i.e. resolution) and bitrates will play smoother but look less attractive
3. see above
Hope this helps

Please let us know the next time you’re able to start a broadcast – so we can diagnose live, or if you can share your admin we will attempt a broadcast ourselves.

Hi Tommaso, thanks for reaching out
1. You can stream to hundreds of thousands or more, if you have a large event (millions) it will be best to let us know in advance so we can “warm up” the infrastructure
2. You may include the video player into any page (may that be password protected) via shortcodes, see details here
3. That is up to your WordPress setup, WpStream itself mostly deals with adding video streaming and monetization to your existing site
4. You can, just as you would if you were to broadcast to any other platform; let me know if you need details on that
5. A live channel can be set up as either free or pay-per-view, your choice; of course, you can create as many of each as you like and run them simultaneously if needs be
Hope this helps, best regards
Hi Stephen, thanks for reaching out,
There is no documentation, however the chat is based on (and almost identical to) this, you may find useful information there. Much of its future depends on the feedback and involvement we get from the beta run, for now its unknown. Do make sure to always use latest plugin as twists/changes/fixes to it happen daily.
Other than that, I would advise you to direct your feedback and questions right in the forum thread, it’s where you have the best chance to get help and guidance, often from engineers working on it.
